Juniors – Weekly 1 Hour Lessons
This is a yearly program for students aged 8 – 12, structured similar to musical instrument lessons, running throughout the school year from September to June.
Music = Fun!
Learning music shouldn’t feel like a chore. The key is getting over the initial hump, which takes work. But work can be fun!
Music is important!
Music is underserved in our educational institutions and yet study after study shows that music is vital for brain development, social intelligence, mental health and learning music at a young age leads to greater success with STEM subjects.
Classes are 1 hr long, 1 class per week, taught in groups of 1 to 4.
Classes will be project based, with a “learning by doing” philosophy.
We will work on completing fully released projects throughout the year.
Weekly web based assignments help take advantage of online learning while keeping the costs down.
Lab time in “The Library” is included in the fee. In addition, students who complete the program will qualify for perpetual discounted studio rates!
